Plumbing & Heating Engineer – Belfast

We are seeking a full time plumbing and heating engineer based in Northern Ireland, however you may be required to travel to Republic of Ireland for call outs and repairs. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Commercial/Domestic Gas appliances install, service and repair
  • Commercial/Domestic Oil appliances install, service and repair
  • Produce certificates with the use of software
  • Pressure vessel maintenance and repair
  • Landlord certificates
  • Plumbing & repairs
  • You may also be required carry out surveys when required and discuss relevant options with customers and the office

 

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Current Gas Safe Qualifications
  • Recognised Plumbing Qualifications
  • OFTEC accreditation
  • Experience in commercial equipment
  • Must be motivated and have a flexible attitude
  • Full UK driving licence

Electrical Inspection and Testing Engineer – Belfast

Parr FM have recently secured a number of long term contracts within Northern Ireland so are now looking to a number electricians with specific experience of performing inspection and testing across a range of commercial installations.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Must be fully qualified
  • 5 or more years of post qualified experience
  • City & Guilds 2391 Qualification (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing
  • Good working knowledge of BS 7671 to the latest revision
  • Experience of completing EICR’s (preferably electronically but not essential)
  • Confident working alone

We are looking for a  number of electricians based in or around Dublin to work within our Facilities Management Division, supporting our reactive and planned maintenance contracts. Works include responding to reactive breakdowns, undertaking essential repairs to ensure the electrical installation meets regulatory requirements as well as new installations or alterations. Specific experience of performing inspection and testing across a range of commercial installations would be beneficial.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Must be fully qualified
  • 2 or more years of post qualified experience
  • City & Guilds 2391 Qualification (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing
  • Good working knowledge of ET 101 or BS 7671 to the latest revision
